The New Western Doctrine

Basic Assumptions about the Current Reality:

  1. The liberal world has been highly successful in cultivating talented individuals, advancing technology, and striving for a life of peace.
  2. The democratic world has failed in its attempt to spread democracy to all nations. Entire peoples and civilizations have been unable to adopt Western-democratic concepts, and have instead chosen to change the rules of the game by promoting their own values and interests—through various means, sometimes even by force.
  3. The liberal world has failed demographically. Without a significant change, its share of the global population will continue to shrink rapidly—up to the point of collapse beyond a point of no return, which is already visible on the horizon. The attempt to cope with this demographic challenge through immigration has also failed.Core Principles of the Concept:

Changes in the Field of Communication:

  • Today, the world of communication resembles the early days of uncontrolled capitalism—a situation in which “the strong take it all.” The public struggles to distinguish truth from lies, public discourse has deteriorated, and polarization has become extreme. Would anyone today even consider a free market like that of the 19th century—with no regulation and no restrictions on monopolies? The same applies to communication: it cannot be that large groups of the public remain captive to only one perception, without any real possibility of being exposed to and examining alternative worldviews.
  • Currently, there are two main approaches to coping with the challenge:
    • Censorship – which is gaining momentum
    • Complete freedom – which in practice mainly benefits the strong and the wealthy
  • The proposed solution: Smart regulation of communication—one that allows full freedom of expression but significantly reduces deliberate deception:
    • The Right to Be Heard:
      • Not only individuals have basic rights, but groups as well. The right to be heard is a fundamental right of every social group within the state, and of every nation in the international arena. Our moral duty is to guarantee these rights—not only in theory, as is the case today, but in practice.
      • To ensure that the public voice is heard not only as an internal echo but also beyond its small box, the state will enact regulation whereby any media outlet or social network that mentions a political body or a related subject—above a certain threshold (based on article size, number of articles, or similar measures)—will be required to give that body the opportunity to publish its own content, covering 25%–30% of the size and exposure of the original. No more limited formulations such as “we approached the relevant body, and here is a summary of its response,” but rather a real opportunity to fully present an alternative worldview.
      • This measure is intended to reduce polarization, prevent cynical misuse of media for political agendas through deliberate deception, and ensure access to diverse information that will strengthen social unity.
    • The Right to a Warning: Similar to food labels on products, the public must be provided with “deception labels” on media products. This will be based on developing an open-source AI system, operating under the supervision of representatives of all parliamentary factions. The system will provide a clear index of the level of deception present in an article or source.

Social Changes:

  • As mentioned earlier, demographic shifts are the gravest threat to Western society.
  • In response, the conservative camp has arisen, seeking to reshape society in its own image, sometimes using extreme pressure that poses a real threat to the very existence of democracy!
  • The liberal society faces two options:
o To insist on avoiding changes—thus gradually weakening due to demographic problems
o To carry out an internal reform aimed at limited, essential changes only—designed to improve birth rates within liberal society while preserving its fundamental values, foremost among them democracy.
  • We have tried other paths, but they have failed. Many may dislike the path proposed below, but it is time to sober up from illusions. This is the only practical option available today! The demographic changes required are vital for the resilience of the Western society and for safeguarding its liberal-democratic values.
  • Main elements of the program:
    • Granting economic and social priority to families, according to two criteria:
      • Number of children
      • Level of education of the children
o Only large families that invest in education and knowledge will enjoy economic and social incentives—with the emphasis on social incentives, which will directly affect their socio-social status. This will make it a dream for people: a dream that naturally connects the aspiration for education with the aspiration to build a large family.
  • Expected outcomes within liberal society:
    • Curtailing the influence of the extreme right
    • Renewed cooperation between center-left and center-right
    • Preservation of democracy
    • Strengthening internal resilience, societal durability in the face of shocks, and increased motivation for service in all areas of society—particularly in combat units. This will ensure that the liberal-democratic camp continues to lead Westerm society!
    • This process is also expected to bring about internal changes within religious groups, much of whose political—and equally important, moral—power stems from their high natural growth.

Geopolitical Concept:

  • We are currently witnessing tectonic shifts in the world order. Just as feudal kingdoms once consolidated into nations, we now stand before a new stage in human development: the creation of international blocs, each based on its core values, bringing together nations that share similar principles.
  • Wester countries will seek to integrate into a bloc of democratic-Western states. This bloc will be structured similarly to the European Union and will centralize key powers in the fields of:
    • Security and military
    • Economyo Law and justice
  • The first step toward establishing the bloc will be the signing of international agreements in the field of communication, similar to those proposed earlier for implementation within each country. In these agreements, the relevant political body will be the government, representing the state in the international public diplomacy arena.

The world is changing—and liberal-democratic society must change with it. We must not fossilize into a liberal orthodoxy!
